Meet Our Founder
Neo Chatyoka is the CEO and Founder of Uhuru Botanicals Ltd and The Cosmetic Formulation Academy, a company focused on organic beauty product development and manufacturing.
She founded Uhuru Botanicals in 2017, starting in her kitchen and eventually expanding to a factory in Wolverhampton.
As a visiting lecturer at multiple UK universities, she educates students on organic cosmetic formulation, product development, and how to launch beauty brands.
Through her Cosmetic Formulation Academy, she also teaches women cosmetic formulation and mentors startups.
Her achievements include being named among the Top 100 Change Makers in Manufacturing 2024, winning an Innovate UK award, being supported by Lloyds Banking Group and receiving recognition in several publications.
Neo is committed to providing training in product development and manufacturing, as well as mentorship and guidance on starting beauty businesses.
